Wow... been a while since I updated. The new semester starts tomorrow, and I'm ready. I'm going to bed early tonight, and heading to my first class in the morning. My car is jam-packed full of stuff... Tons of clothes, several pairs of shoes, around 50 DVDs, food, water, etc. My mother's car went kaput the week before Christmas, so I acted as a chauffer (sp?) for her. Christmas was fantastic, I got lots of my favorite smelling lotion, a huge case for my makeup, some cash I used to buy pre-owned DVDs from Gamestop, a $40 Old Navy gift card from my Dad I used to buy a couple of T-shirts, a pair of pinstriped pants, and a velvet sport coat; an electric mixer I also got some cookbooks, a Santa Claus tealight holder, and a gift certificate from Target I have yet to use. My mother gave me a leather-front zip-up sweater that I love, and a purple shirt. New Years was party-free for me, stayed at my Mom's apt. watched movies and ate Mexican food. I was going to go back to my place in CF the Tues after New Years... but there was a cat-napping in the family. It really upset my brother in particular, so I stayed. My uncle has his head so far up his ass, I don't think he even realizes how pissed everybody is at him for this little stunt. I know I'll never be able to look at him the same way again. I almost cried when I left this afternoon. I was tired and a little stressed. And despite the fact that my brother and I fight like proverbial cats and dogs, I love the kid to death. I miss him when I'm gone.
