Jason and I watched this Penn and Teller: Bullshit! episode on Holy Icons (Virgin Mary Cheese Sandwich, etc.), and there was this nut trying to prove that Jesus was crucified through the palms instead of the wrists by conducting an "experiment". His experiment, he had his son put on leather glove-like straps (for safety's sake) and "crucified" in his garage. The kicker is, that the guy, Mr Zugibe (Zug-a-bee) is wearing a white lab coat through out the whole thing, and when Penn and Teller interview him in his office behind him is an OIL PAINTING of him in a white lab coat. He wears the coat cause it makes it look professional.. anyway, that guy was a psycho.
Also, everytime I see the trailer for the Pink Panther remake, I think two things:
1. Steve Martin should stop acting and keep writing.
2. Kevin Kline would make a better Clouseau... switch their roles and you might have a piece of crap.
Better yet, why not just show the old Pink Panther movies in it, with Peter fucking Sellers as Clouseau? I think movie studios should stop all these shitty "re-makes" of old "classics". Just re-show the old classics, assholes! 9 times out of 10 the classics are way better. The studios will still make money, so why should they give a shit? Hell, they'd make even more money. They don't have to go to the hassle and expense of "re-imagning" an old classic, paying actors, etc.
Anyway... that's about it... oh... also this is nothing new, but the folks at Westboro Baptist (the Godhatesfags people) are fucking hate-mongering psychopaths. They protested in Martinsville, IN (which is like 15 min north of where I live), at the funeral of a US soldier slain in Iraq, saying that God is killing US soldiers because it tolerates gays. Ugh, such disgust, what fucks. Also, Sean Hannity made himself look like a complete ignorant jackass (more so than usual) by saying that the Westboro people were obviously ultra-leftist, because there was no way right wing folks would protest the funeral of a US soldier.
