So, the IMU called this morning and offered me a job M-R 6pm-2:30am and Su 10:30pm-2:30am @ $7 an hour to start with and a .25 cent raise after 400 hours. I'm gonna have to take it, because of the money and hours, which means I'm gonna have to submit my two weeks at the VP.
Such a bummer, I feel like a first rate jackass, because I just got hired and they really needed the help and I met some really cool people there. I'm going in to the IMU for processing today at 11am. I wouldn't have taken the job at VP if I thought IU would have called back and offered me this position. I interviewed with them about a month ago and we played phone tag and they gave the position I was going for to another person. Which is why I went VP.
Poo.
This sucks cause i feel like a jackass for doing the 2 weeks thing, not even a week of being hired, but I have to cause I could really use the extra dollar I'd make at the IMU. So, it's ultimately a good thing wrapped in a thin, candy-shitshell.
