I'm friggin depressed.
Marvel has been giving me a hard time.
Last week...I get the Ultimate X-Men Annual and Gambit friggin dies!! I just spent 3 weeks reading trade paperbacks non-stop so I could get caught up with Ultimate X-Men cause I thought they were finally going to make Gambit a permanent character!!!
Erg.
And what the heck?? He dies like a BITCH?? He couldn't think of some other way to get his butt out of that situation???
Reminds me of how they killed Beast awhile back....stuff falls on him and he dies. No glorious "saving the world" "this will go down in history" kind of death....nope.....stuff just falls on him....and he dies. I think Ultimate X-Men should be renamed X-Men:They Die Like Bitches.
And then today....I pick up X-Men:The End series....and ROGUE friggin dies. It is like Marvel has some kind of personal vendetta with me. What did I do to deserve this? Hmmm......I hope it's not because I kept bugging the hell out of Chris Claremont at the last Wizard convention. I just wanted my shirt signed!! I didn't mean any harm!

Do you ever read Ultimates? I've missed the last few issues, but it's a great book.
