Sorry for moping about as of late. I suppose the stress of work has finally gotten to me. I hate to say it but I'm just starting to snap a bit. You guys don't know this, but I work 18 hours a day, seven days a week right now.

Why in god's name???....(that is what you are wondering right?)

Well...boobs don't come cheap, that's for sure!
Be glad if you were born with them...they are worth a pretty penny. I have to save $7000 for mine by June 17th. Not to mention the fact that I'll be out of work for over a month...sooo I have to save up enough money to pay bills and sustain myself through all of July and August.

On top of that...the housing market has improved and I am completely and utterly sick of my current apartment. Don't get me wrong...I love my actual apartment. I just hate the new bigwig owners who bought the place. I'll spare you the details...unless of course, you are interested:

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

My apartment complex used to be privately owned. The family that owned them was great...they kept things in order without interfering too much with the tenants. If you needed them or something broke, they were there in the blink of an eye. Otherwise, they just let everyone be. In comes the Galman Group. (I'm pretty sure Galman is the Devil's middle name...or something equally as bad) For as often as they bug the tenants, they might as well be sleeping with all of us! Our rent has sky-rocketed since they came in! And why?? So they can make all these crazy improvements and updates on the complex. Apparently they have never heard of the phrase - "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
Nope...they take it upon themselves to change everything in the buildings. And because they are making all these pointless improvements...they have hordes of construction workers and random people constantly standing around in the buildings. In fact, they come into your apartment!! Seriously...right in!! Oh yeah...they give you notice in the form of a letter that reads "someone will be by your apartment between 8am and 4pm either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday to replace the filter on your air conditioner". So those three days I run around my apartment nervous that a complete stranger could walk in on me at any time. It sucks.

Sooo...that is why I am saving up for a house.

Between house, boobs, and missing work, I end up having to save up quite a lot of money! And so I've been working every single day...alllll day long.

I'm sure very few of you can imagine what it must be like to work 18 hours each day, every day. I can honestly say that it has been at least two or three months since I have gone to a movie, watched TV, played a video game, or even read a book! I'm ashamed to say it, but I am even about 2 months behind on my comic books!! No fun...no fun at all. Not to mention the fact that I've lost touch with almost all of my friends. They probably all hate me now....or have just simply forgotten me. *sigh*

My average day goes pretty much like so:

- I wake up at 10am and go right to the computer, at this point I usually post on SG or do something that doesn't require a whole lot of thinking...just to warm my brain up for writing.

- I then write for several hours straight...mostly work for my website, sometimes research for the classes I teach on 16th century textiles, sometimes my own writing projects, sometimes other people's projects that I have to edit or re-write.

- Then I shower and get ready for my first job. Spend an hour or more driving to said job.

- I usually work at one of two different bars for the afternoon shift. Depending on which bar, I work anywhere from four to six hours straight...no breaks.

- Then I get dressed and drive to my night job; usually Daydreams or another club...where I work 7pm to 2am. No breaks.

- Some nights I stay after work to teach pole dance to my show partner or to any other girls who are curious to learn. I usually end up leaving work around 4am.

- I get home by 5am...eat a quick dinner, shower, and go to bed to wake up again at 10.

*repeat*

So when I tell you guys that I have very little time to "hang out" or "get together"...I am not kidding! People think it is a line but I really do live like this right now! It sucks. I am tired all the time, I feel lonely all the time, I don't eat well, and I don't get enough sleep. On top of that, just posting this entry is about as much leisure time as I will get the whole week.

So forgive me if I seem irritable or "not myself" as of late. You have no idea how hard living like this has been for me. I having been keeping my wits about me for the most part but every now and again I falter a bit. But who wouldn't?
I have about three more months of this schedule to deal with and then hopefully I'll be able to relax during my recovery in July.

PS. I noticed most of you cheated on the "Choose Your Own Adventure" post...*tsk tsk*

:p

PSS. Oh yeah...my birthday is on Sunday...since I don't have any days off this month....we are celebrating it at my work on Saturday. So if you are in the area, stop down at Daydreams on Saturday. smile I'm doing the show!
