You guys didn't know this but I was really really sick the past week and a half. My throat had gotten so bad I couldn't swallow, eat, or...you guessed it...talk.
I only started feeling better yesterday and today I started eating solid food again. Oh food....glorious food....I missed you most of all. Talking is great and all...but food! Good lord...is food awesome or what???
I hated being sick.

Well....truth be told, I'm still not back to my chatty self yet....and I still cringe at the thought of eating a granola bar. Hmmmm....come to think of it. Maybe I always cringed at the thought of eating a granola bar. eeeeeeewwwww.......healthy.
But you get my point. Things are not back to normal yet, but they are a lot better.

The funny thing is everyone seems to be so concerned with the fact that I started out the New Year so badly. ??? Isn't it funny how we put so much importance on such an undistinguished, unexceptional day? I mean, it is just the changing of the year on a calendar that in no way accurately portrays the length of our existence or the passing of time.
If I want to make a resolution...I would simply do it as the thought to make a change came to me. Any ordinary day would do. So don't worry about me. I'm just ticked off I missed out on all the food!!
