PICS!!!
Note: Okies...this post is loaded with pics so those of you with dial up or slow puters may want to beware!
Now on to the good stuff--->
The following are all pictures from Otakon...the Baltimore Cosplay/Anime convention.
In honor of this event I have created the following image:

For the first day I went as Ayane from DOA and Ninja Gaiden

For the second day I went as Miu from the Dears series

For those of you who have never experienced a cosplay convention, you have no idea what you are missing. A convention as large as Otakon is a veritable plethora of cute, squishy anime characters...

popular japanese series....

and classic gaming icons...

and people with a terrific sense of humor.

It is a great place to meet up with friends you don't get to see often...

and hang out with friends you see all the time.

I love anime as much as the next person...

but at Otakon...there are always about 343874834 others who love it more then you! The anime geekiness can be a bit overwhelming at times!
Sometimes one needs to take a break from all that Japanimation and take a trip to the good old 616 Universe.

Where they really know how to treat a lady!

Then one can go right on back to squishing random fuzzy friends...

and laugh at mini versions of oneself that are trapped in boxes...

I went to this convention with my friend Soni (as Jade):

We did the Dears series together:

and met up with the Monarch's henchmen...

and got mistaken for mannequins by Pyramid Head....

(hey, I'm not complaining! The Red Pyramid is HOT!)
And had our pics taken a MILLION times...

Serving up our sexy poses...

in the fountain room...

But the weekend ended quickly and we had to return home.
And with the way Baltimore streets are designed...

it is a wonder we ever made it back at all!!!

Oh and thanks for the "Juggernaut bitch!" reminder. That movie still makes me wanna cry tears of pure heart-crushing disappointment.
