Lots of new pics and random squeakiness!!!
Okay...first of all...some of you know about my fashion and beauty site at squeakmachine.com
I've been getting a lot of messages about the site and when it will finally be launched...sooooo...to keep you guys updated about additions and changes and my all-around progress, I have created a Myspace page for the site.
Please check on it often for updates and previews!
Speaking of the website...I just finished a few tutorials yesterday:
Scream Queen:
Un-named 1:
Un-named 2:
The last two have yet to be named...as you can see.
If you guys have any ideas...please post them!

Also!!!!
I have new ratties!!! My friend Jackie had a litter of Siamese rats last month and she dropped off two boys for me last week.
This is Snufflepuff:
And this is Elvis:
Oh! And here is a picture of them from the back so you can see their coloring. Siamese rats look exactly like Siamese cats in coloring. Tan body with dark face, feet, and tail. Elvis has much better coloring then Snuffles does.
They are both very sweet though and they seem to be adjusting well to their new home.
I'll try to take better pictures of them later. ~*~

And lastly....
The Philadelphia Film Festival has almost come to an end. *sob* These past two weeks went by so fast!
The turn out was -really- bad this year. I have never EVER seen it so bad. Normally, you don't have any seats between you and the next person and you have to wait in long lines to go in to the movie. This year, there were TONS of empty seats and no lines to wait in. It was nice as far as comfort goes but bad for the festival. I think it was a combination of bad weather, sparse advertising, and the change in the purchasing tickets process that really hurt it the most.
But....we saw some really great movies! Let me tell you about some of my favorites:
Cruel Winter Blues
This movie was from South Korea and part of the Asian Gangster collection this year. This was probably my favorite movie this year. It is not your typical gangster movie. It has some very dark elements but has an overall quirky and almost comical feel to it. It is about some gangsters that are ordered to make a hit on a guy. When they go to his home town to wait for him, they begin to frequent a restaurant near to where they are staying. It turns out that the restaurant is owned by their mark's mother! As they get to know her, they begin to question their mission. I loved the characters, I loved the dialog, I love how it ended.
End of the Line
A horror film from Canada. It did not get the best of ratings from the festival goers...they are all too serious. Sure, it is not the most thought provoking film in the Danger After Dark collection...but it is really entertaining! And it scared the heck out of my friend Soni!
Them
French horror film. This movie had one of the best storylines...and it is based off of true events.??? I wouldn't say it was scary but it was certainly suspenseful...similar to Haute Tension, as it is one of those chase and run horror movies. But it was well done. Only thing I didn't like was some of the camera work. Some of it was done on foot and it made me a little motion sick in some scenes.
Princess
From Denmark. My best friend liked this movie a lot more than I did... but with the incredible animation and extremely controversial storyline, it would seem a sin to not mention it. I will admit, I was very disturbed by the movie's plot...it leaves you with a sort of numb and unnerving feeling. But its success at disturbing and horrifying is one of the reasons it is such a good film. I am pretty desensitized towards horror and the grotesque, as any good horror film buff should be but this movie actually bothered me. Yeah.
All and all...it was a pretty good year. Not the best...but certainly not the worst.
Just hope the turn out is better next year!!
