I have been in a mad rush this past two weeks to get ready for Pennsic. It is a large event held by The Society for Creative Anachronism...a historical reenactment society.
My mother has been doing it for as long as I can remember...and she is quite high ranking within the SCA. I've learned a lot from her...as far as needlework goes she is my idol and muse...she is also one of the smartest women you will ever meet with wit to match. I'll be spending the entire week with her in EK Royal.
This year, I switched the era of my persona....so I've been hard at work making new gowns....many many many new gowns. It has taken up all of my free time as of late. I still have much to do before I leave on Friday.....going to work is unfortunately one of the things on that list.
Speaking of which! I just realized I am going to be late!
Well, I am leaving for Pennsic in two days...hope to see some of you there!! I'll post pictures of both San Diego and Pennsic when I get back!!!!!
