I woke up this morning feeling incredibly well rested even though I had only slept a few hours. I can now almost be totally sure of two things: One, I have some time to kill since I'm up a few hours earlier then normal, and Two, I will probably fall asleep in the movie theater tonight.

You wouldn't believe how many movies I have fallen asleep to. Unfortunately, X-Men 3 did not rank among those titles. *sigh* But I'll save that rant for a different day.

In other news....
I've been hearing a lot about some really great 1930's-40's era themed night clubs in NYC. They have strict dress codes...you have to be dressed in the garb of that era. It is all part of trying to create a certain atmosphere. The music, the ambiance, and even the food are all supposed to be completely reminiscent of the 1940's.
Anyways, it sounds awesome! So I've been online shopping for hats, handbags, and clothing patterns so I can put together some outfits. I really want to give some of those clubs a try. Every day of my life I wish that certain aspects of that time period would come back into style....I just love some of the ideals and styles of the early to mid 1900's. I can't wait to check out those clubs!
