Hey everyone!
I wish I had something new and exciting to report....but alas, I'm still working on the apartment. We got most of the big furniture moved in....so now I just have all the little, tedious stuff left to do. I will post pictures when it is all done.
In similar news.....
I still have yet to get cable hooked up for the TV and computer. Soooo I am still not able to check my mail much....(I'm at my mom and dad's right now). I hope to get that done by the end of this month.
I really only have my comics to keep me company.
Speaking of which.....
Ultimate Hulk vs Wolverine is friggin fantastic!!! I normally DESPISE the Ultimate universe......*vomit*
The Ultimate Universe is basically a whole lot of bad ideas written extremely well. The fact that they are written so well, keeps you buying them. Damn them!!!!
Speaking of Marvel's clever traps to get you to spend more money.....Deadly Genesis and The 198 are really good so far! They are so good, I am spending way more then I would like to on comics right now....but hey, that's life.

I agree about the Ultimate series being just another clever marketing tool to make us buy more comics! I am usually disappointed with the story by the time I am finished, but I still but them sometimes..I will have to check out the Hulk/Wolverine book you mentioned...I am a life long Marvel/DC devotee (yes, I love them both, but classic books, mostly: I am into Avengers (hate the new series), Thor (my favorite, mmmmaaaaaaddd that they stopped writing the book...bring it back, damn it!), Dr. Strange, Scarlet Witch, Wonder Woman, Superman, JLA, Supergirl--I am apparantly attracted to absolute power (Spiderman does not fulfill my comic desires) and great art, especially when it comes to female characters (hence Wanda, Diana, and Kara Zor-El..have you checked out those books recently?). Nice to see that you are a fellow devotee, even if you sound like strickly a Marvel Girl, or am I wrong?
