The new Neil Gaiman movie, "MirrorMask", is friggin GREAT!!! The characters, the scenery, the effects, the dialog.....everything was just exceptional. In fact, my only annoyance stemmed from the lady behind me who kept repeating over and over again; "This is weird....this is really weird". I shall have to go and see the movie again without that added "soundtrack" behind me. heh. Gosh...I wonder.....do people even realize how friggin annoying they are? But I digress..... Anyways...yes...so go see that movie! If you like the sort of dark fantasy type movies...."Dark Crystal", "Legend", "Labyrinth"......you'll really love "MirrorMask".
I only hope that Clive Barker's "Abarat" turns out as well. As those stories were bought buy the Walt Disney company for future movie production. "Abarat" has a similar feel to it. And I would like to see the world and all of it inhabitants portrayed as well as the world and creatures in "MirrorMask".
