Thanks out there to all the people that offered to do my little icon (see previous entry).
Also, I have a present for you all today. This is a song off of a mdc album that I yoinked from the radio station... I'm not sure why I like this song so much, but I think it has to do with the fact that it's really annoying and catchy. Anyways, enjoy. =)
Also, my craptacular band is officially booked for a show in the beginning of February. Since we suck at writing our own songs, we're just doing covers. I think that we'll probably end up playing the following list:
- "Ring of Fire" by Johnny Cash
- "Right Here Waiting" by Richard Marx
- "More Than A Feeling" by Boston
- "Regulate" by Warren G & Nate Dogg
- "Cocaine" by Eric Clapton
Now imagine each of these songs taken from their original annoying format and transposed with heavy guitar, drum machines, and 75% faster tempo. See, this isn't like when girls say "oh, my, look at me, I'm so fat and/or ugly". When I say that we plan to make terrible and annoying music, I fucking mean it. =) At least we don't have any dilusions of grandeur like some members of my previous band.

Thanks, glad you like my tattoo. I designed it myself (with a bit of help from my artist, who's better at freehand drawing than I am.) I felt like if I'm going to have something put on my body forever, I'll make it something that has personal meaning for me (I'm a molecular biologist) and something original that I haven't seen before. I never understand people who have team mascots and trademarked symbols tattooed on themselves. To each his own, I suppose.
