This weeks blog homework from @rambo and @missy really speaks to me. I'm a hopeless romantic, but things never, ever work out the way I expect or want them to (sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse). I believe in the theory that if something can go wrong 9 times out of 10, it will; and it usually does. So this weeks homework is: what is the most amazing/hilarious/disastrous romantic gesture you have ever pulled off, witnessed, or been the subject of? Personally, I remember going completely out of my way for someone I really liked and basically everything went wrong that day. The skateboard I had ordered wasn't finished being painted, and the game I had been planning to buy was sold out- everywhere. Granted, I didn't really plan that well anything other than the skateboard, so when that fell through, then the game.... I thought I was in big trouble; but luckily for me food solves everything; so I made their favourite meal and then took them out for desserts at our favourite place, and serenaded them with their favourite song on our walk over, hand in hand- they had even scored the game themselves, because they are a genius and pre-ordered a copy... (duh!) It turned out to be a lovely day :)
Something done for me... Hmmmm.... well, one of my first not-serious-at-all boyfriends when I was about 12 was horrible at playing guitar, and he wrote a song which included my name and 3 other words, consecutively. It was very hard to keep a straight face. I also remember back in school there was a boy I had a huge crush on. He had the cutest dirty blonde afro ever and his name was Zane. He asked me out one morning, and I was super excited. It didn't matter that he asked me to go biking (I was really chubby back then, definitely not an active kid) I was just stoked that MY CRUSH asked me out! Well, I should have known it was too good to be true because the whole day they joked about it and by the end of the day bell he told me it was all just a joke and a dare. I was pretty heartbroken, but since I started modeling a lot of those douche bags from school have tried to befriend me again....Nope, bye! I'll forgive, but I'll never forget.
