I'm thinking I must be more excited about Christmas this year than I have been for a long while. Yea, it's commercialised and expensive. We over-eat, we drink too much and spend too much, but it is the one time of year where people are less likely to be ass-holes to each other. It shouldn't be that it's only once a year, but it is.
My kids get here on the 20th and I can't wait to see them. I have told them the stereo is broken in the car so they have to sing for the 6 hour journey to Bavaria. Does that make me a bad man?
