I apologize. I've been slack on my SG duties. I've had a LOT going on recently, some good, some bad, some same old shit. I really appreciate those who have posted to my journal even though I haven't been the best at posting back. It really meant a lot to me though. Thanks.

I will try to keep up with things better. I promise.

Whew!

Back to normal!

I got five jumps in today. They needed me to jump tandems at the drop zone but I had to get current first. I had to make a couple of tandem jumps with experienced jumpers as students for my recurrency rating. After that I made two for real tandems. and Fourth, this is AMAZING! I was camping with friends a long long time ago, like 12 years ago (crap...I AM old). I was up early, and sitting by the lake watching this INCREDIBLE color in the sky. I was just mesmerized. From that point on, when anyone ever asked me what my favorite color was I would think back to that moment. It was indescribable...and here you have a picture of it. I'm printing this and keeping it. You ARE the man...thank you.

I'm back!

I'll get a proper update and some pics later, right now I'm pulling the rest of my gear from my truck and jumping in the shower. I haven't had anything other than a perfunctory sponge bath in over 7 days.

Man you are so lucky. I love Isle royale. I havent been there in years. I was thinking about going there this summer but didnt have the time or money. I'm glad that you had lots of fun. It was so great to meet you. I should have came to the party alone instead of bringing my friend with me. Shes not a party person and she was the reason i had to leave early i just didnt say anything cause she would have gotten mad, but she didnt want to be there and that made me sad, but i had fun and i met alot of people and I hope to get to meet everyone again soon. You are the coolest. Thanks for letting me come to your campout. I am also sad i missed the big fire.

I went through your town on the way back from Chicago over the 4th of July and had to turn around. So many times I meant to have my camera ready to take the picture of the sign showing Climax~3/4 mile, and then the next sign came so soon I should have slowed my speed down, just Climax and an arrow pointing> like anyone could live up to those kinds of demands! Yeah so I had to turn around and try again. wink
