so at 2:30 in the afternoon today at work a woman comes into the hat store, sets her containers of food down on the counter and drunkenly demands a white fedora to add to her "huge" colection. as she is describing her desires to me, her husband stumbles in with a large ice cream cone and asks if he can be in the store with it. i say no and he starts to argue with his wife about how he isn't allowed in. she tells him to gtfo and continues to go on and on and on very drunkenly about the hats she needs. mike and i set out to help her but it really doesn't take much, i casually show her a kinda white fedora and she falls in love then spy's a st. patties day hat. i suggest a much better (and expensive) model and she hoots and hollers about how perfect it is. i ring her up and as i hand her the change she asks if i like ice cream. yes i like ice cream. and VWALAH she hands me a perfectly untouched cup of cotton candy ice cream!
oh drunk people at the harbor, i love you. as soon as she leaves me and mike go for the spoons but she runs back in demanding for paper towels. apparently her husband spilled ice cream all over himself lololololol
THE COLORS!

friday i went on a firld trip with my set design class to take a tour of the Mark Taper theater and then see Dream Girls. good lord that was the most boring show i have ever seen. the audience was having waaayyy too much fun. sorry, but the song and dance and LED screens just arn't my thing. some pics of our adventures
Byan and Erica are the most entertaining couple to ever be around. i always feel like i'm in some witty, banter filled movie when i hang out with them. the day's subject was Bryans new found adventures at his bulemia rehab and his drunk cubin grandmothers love for salmon creek wine. such shinanigans!

i'm up in a very scary place... on the cat walk oo yeah the cat walk....
