Today I found out that in the fall I will be working at a nearby metropolitan paper and earning college credit for it. I'm pretty excited over this! I had applied without really anticipating acceptance, and I guess this is like mad fortuitous. Throughout my reporting and writing courses this semester I have become stuck on the idea of doing this (stomping around to courthouses/city halls/police stations/city councilandcommittee meetings + writing about it) for a living, and I feel like this is a pretty good step in the right direction. Life is full of possibilities.

Shame that I have a metric fuckton of writing to do for this week!. Though, I guess it's almost done with (huzzay summer!)
