So, last night, I got this sudden hit of inspiration out of nowhere… Well, not completely out of nowhere. Earlier in the week, I had a couple of requests to sing for a couple of people, so I did. I found myself enjoying it, so much so that last night I had this crazy notion to write a song! Sadly, my landlord was asleep in the room adjacent to me, so all I could do until early this morning was let it burn up my brain. This morning, I wrote the lyrics and sung a VERY rough draft. Did you know that it’s hard to write and sing a song completely from scratch? I get that now. 😅 Anyways, I did it, and even though it’s not at all finished, I still feel good about having done that.
What passion projects do you have on the go? Do you have something that you want to put out into the world that you hesitate to out of fear of rejection etc.? I’m curious to hear about your aspirations.
