This past weekend was a big one.
A little quirk about me is my feelings towards friends. I love the friends I do have here but if they don't communicate with me, I disappear and don't bother putting any effort into contacting them.
My best friend from high school and I lost contact for many years after and reconnected maybe 4 years ago. It was really great and I love the time we spent together. Sadly, she moved about an hour forty-five away and yet I would still make the drive up every few weeks. Then she stopped texting me on a regular basis. I mentioned that in one short random conversation and she said she had just been "too tired" to bother messaging me. The message came through to me that I wasn't important enough.
Well, she was in my area this past week and she came over and we spent the evening together and it was really nice. Her, my husband, and I played Zombies!! Which was over my head with my lack of sleep but a good time was had by all.
Then Sunday, @roz and I trekked up north for a shoot with @drawingfromusic. We both shot a set in between much messing around. It was fun to shoot again, it's been some time.
Roz looked extra adorable and sexy, a great combination in my opinion, and I'm really excited to see the end result.
It was really great to see 2 of my friends this weekend. I mostly consider myself a lone wolf, it sounds better than saying I don't care a lot for people.
