I liked them quite a bit, it seems to surprise a lot of people because of all the rabid Trekkies and Trekkers hating on it and anyone who says they liked it. I didn't care for some of the casting choices and something near the ending in the second one bothered me but otherwise found them quite enjoyable! Heaven forbid i say that in a comment section on facebook though, so many angry nerds telling me my opinion is wrong and that the movies sucked, i like to tell them that their anger about science fiction movies is illogical lol. So far to date ive seen pretty much EVERYTHING Star Trek, all of the series including the animated one and every single movie. If people think the Abrams movies suck then i usually throw the first couple seasons of Voyager and "Enterprise" in their face.

And heaven forbid people just have their own opinions about things like music, movies, or books @colchicine. As a real Star Trek fan, I like hearing your opinion because if you generally enjoyed it to the original/other films, then there is generally hope for Star Wars. I don't want to be hurt like I was for episodes 1-3
