i lost it and called a horrible customer "retarded" at an old job,  my friend and manager told me that one of her brothers is mentally disabled. i told her i was sorry for saying it and she told me "no, i was trying to tell you my brother is "special" and i call people retarded all the time, go ahead those assholes deserve it, retards!". most people who are overly politically correct don't have any real struggles in their life and have to compensate by being over sensitive to everything.
