So my birthday weekend was mellow and perfect. My best friend from high school, suzanne, came down from seattle for the weekend; on saturday morning I rescued a kitten and named him (her?) Igby. too bad i can't keep him because I am really falling in love! my house mate and i nursed it back to health and now she is just soooo cute.
anyway, saturday night my friend Joel cooked dinner for me and some friends; dunx came and brought me a lovely bottle of Smirnoff Ice (mmmm). oh, and some champage too. we had a really nice time and the food was really good and by the end of the night everyone was ridiculously drunk and lying on the floor. a good birthday.
sunday I ate yet more good food and hung out with suzanne, it was all just really nice and made me happy. being 23 really really sucked so thus far 24 seems to be pretty good, much better though that wouldn't be too difficult.
ummmm we saw napoloeon dynamite again, it was even funnier. see it if you haven't, if you don't like it I'll personally refund your $7.
This weekend is a huge party all about ME at Jeff's cabin in Tahoe -- it's gonna be awesome. if anyone reading this wants to come (of those i have actually met in person, mind you), let me know. there is still space in one car coming from pdx.
