Well I went to see wilco in Dallas Yesterday. It was a pretty awesome concert. I was hoping they played a little more of there old stuff, but they didn't....although I like the new stuff a lot, it is really growing on me. They played California Stars, which is a really awesome song. mostly they played stuff off Yankee hotel Foxtrot and A ghost is born (they played 9 out of the 12 songs from that Album). I don't think they played anything off their first two albums at all which is kind of weird to me. And they only played like one song off Summerteeth that I could recognize, but it was a cool one (shot in the arm) It is always interesting to hear what songs a band will play when they have a lot of good stuff to choose from....It was also interesting to me that they really seemed to want to play more rock than anything else....which was cool, but they didn't really play too many of their softer songs, or if they did, they didn't really play them soft.....

For me, Spiders, California Stars, Shot in the arm, Hummingbird, late greats, Handshake Drugs, I'm a wheel, ashes of american flags, were the ones that stick in my mind as being "highlights" although as a whole it was really awesome I thought. It was kind of funny....it seemed for the most part that when I see wilco like in their movie or anything they all seemed to be about the same age (all the members seemed to be like early to mid thirties) but when I saw them last night they had a kid playing guitar and keyboards (taking Leroy Bach's or Jay Bennett's old position I guess) who was probably about 22 or so years old. which probably makes him the youngest in the band by probably ten years or more. I think his name is Pat Sansone, but I am not entirely sure because they never introduced any of the members.

Well, in other news, tonight is the night I have to go back to work (booooooo!) so I should probably eat something and get ready....seeing as I have to be there in one hour and I basically just woke up and started typing this and that's pretty much all I have done. The drive kind of sucked and I got lost basically twice. I found the place pretty easily the first time, but then I had a lot of time to spare so I drove out to Irving to see Texas Stadium and when I was coming back I missed the turn or something....then I backtracked and missed it again going the opposite direction. so then I hopped on the freeway and went to try to get to Mccommas street that way but that screwed me up more than anything i think because I couldn't find it that way....Then I drove through SMU for a while, then I got stuck downtown or something (I was at the corner of main and first in Dallas....) then I drove past Baylor Medical center and That saved me because It was on the map so I found my way back up and got on Mccommas street and made it over there to the show with a few minutes to spare, so everything was fine....I ended up standing probably ten feet or so from the stage on the left side, so it was pretty good.

I drove straight through on the way back.....i almost stopped at a motel, but After I pulled in I felt a lot more awake for some reason, so I drove on. I made it back at around 430 so it took me about 3.5 hours to get there and 4.5 to get back...(I635 is kind of fucked up I think or it doesn't have very good signs on it and I ended up going a bad way for a while so it took a lot of extra time to get back to Denton....plus I stopped three times on the way back and only stopped once on the way there)

That's all. I am really going to go get eats now. Bye.
