Dun Dun Dun my new guilty pleasure is MTV's Rob & Big...

blush
fellonearth:
Rob & Big? OK, this time I really am clueless... Well, that and I don't really watch TV.

As far as my "AAAAAAAAAAH" episode goes, it was a reference to the intro to Space Madness from the Ren & Stimpy Show, a total classic in my book. The moment they "engage" the sublight speed drive they start screaming like lunatics while crazy strobe like effects ensue, pretty much what you'd expect space travellers hurtling through the cosmos at speeds "so fantastic, they throttle the imagination". Here's a clip of the episode, but it's missing the epileptic shock inducing intro I mentioned, sorry. frown Enjoy:

Looks like the CA voters gave prop 85 a big fat fuck you!!!

Nancy Pelosi a California Democrat in line to become the nation's first female House speaker HELL YEAH!!!!

I wish I could just go to sleep and wake up with the Dems in control of the House and the Senate. All this waiting on VA, MT, and MO is making my tummy all...

{LOUD BOOMING VOICE} THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GLOBAL WARMING...
Don't pay any attention to the man behind the curtain...

The rise in temeratures is just, um, mass hysteria... frown It really is unbelievable, I can't remember November ever being this warm... Hmm, I wonder if the mountains will get any snow at all this year, I sure hope so...

Soo, you want to know how my weekend went? Let's see... Uh, I worked. Yep. Good ol' mind-numbing work... Oh, that and I took the Yuri dog for a walk in the meadow just before sunset. It was really nice, the meadow was like a changing canvas, capturing colors and casting broad shadows as the sun dipped beyond the landscape. It was so nice and peaceful and though I wished it would last longer, the day was finally over. I also visited some good friends of mine at their new home and we had some good times. I was really surprised when my friend, an avid mountain biker, revealed that he had just happened upon a very fortunate discovery on a recent ride in the mountains. Quite an fortiutous adventure, indeed! Always a generous and gracious host, he and his wife shared some of the "treasure" from his little adventure. It's been a while for me, but if I were a bird, I'd say that I would probably be a "puffin". wink

But enough about me, how was your weekend (even though we're getting into the middle of the week here). I hope you had a better one then I did (which is to say a great one!) So, are you still thinking about getting a little dog? Just remember to spay or neuter your pet... (or you could end up with a bunch of puppies... unless, of course, it's your neighbor's dog that ends up with the pups instead biggrin) Speaking of which, I'm going to have to take Yuri in soon for a little operation I'm sure he'd rather avoid. I feel really bad about doing it, but I suppose it's humane and prevents unwanted puppies from becomming indigent or abused. frown I'm sure he'll forgive me, but I just can't imagine him wearing a "bucket" on his head for a while. biggrin I'll have to get a pic. In the mean time, I'll post a new one I took earlier today of Yuri and his brother Gus. Well, it's late... (Again...) I should get some sleep since I'm doing inventory for my boss tomorrow. puke

Take Care,

Eric

P.S. I left the same comments for your last journal entry, I kind of walked away earlier while I was composing it only to return just now. I was keeping a close watch on the election too, HOORAY for Dems!!!! biggrin biggrin biggrin

It`s difficult for me to understand the political system in the USA. But its good to know that the Democrats are back biggrin

So stoked so in June I booked myself and my best friend 2 nights at the Hootes Casino in Vegas for both nights the total price was $144.39. I check what the rooms are going for now and they are 182.98 a night for the weekend we are going. I am soooooo fucking glad I booked when I did. It's going to be so much...

I hope you have fun at the party, and your costume is great. Now that you mention it, Eddie (In Drag) is recognizable. How funny is that? My mom and her girlfriend watch alot of GLBT stuff, so I'm sure I happened to see at least something that s/he was in that they were watching. Ok, that's about it. Um, yeah. So have fun. blush

P.S. More Puppy Pics (Including a fun "mini set"). biggrin

Yes, Mike Meyers acting as his own father was great.

"Let's get pissed!" The wedding reception scene is classic.
