So the surgery went well but the doctor did say that the tendon was really tight and he had to put a pin in the toe to allow for less tension on the tendon. Not in too much pain but crutches are not fun. Also he wants me off my foot for a full week. dun dun dun
So I got some good new from the doctor today. I only severed one of the two tendons in my big toe and they can clearly see each end so there will be no hunting to find the ends, which means the incision will be much smaller. I go in for surgery on the 23rd.
It was a run by fruiting.

Bahhh! So the urgent care doctor thinks I ruptured a tendon in my foot and has referred me to an orthopedic surgeon. One stupid burger flipper and I might have to have surgery I say poo to that. Lets keep our fingers crossed that it's not as bad as she thinks it might be.

I am freaking out and there is no one to talk me down so I am getting all worked up and can only think of the worst-case scenario.

Just cut open my foot with a very sharp hamburger flipper(wtf?). Left a bloody footprint and then almost passed out and I think I am going to have to glue it shut.
