OK it's freaking November and it is 90 degrees outside this is not right. I love the fall and winter months for the weather and this hot shit is pissing me off. I want rain and cold days with scarves and warm coats. ARRGGGG
{LOUD BOOMING VOICE} THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GLOBAL WARMING...
Don't pay any attention to the man behind the curtain...
The rise in temeratures is just, um, mass hysteria... It really is unbelievable, I can't remember November ever being this warm... Hmm, I wonder if the mountains will get any snow at all this year, I sure hope so...
Soo, you want to know how my weekend went? Let's see... Uh, I worked. Yep. Good ol' mind-numbing work... Oh, that and I took the Yuri dog for a walk in the meadow just before sunset. It was really nice, the meadow was like a changing canvas, capturing colors and casting broad shadows as the sun dipped beyond the landscape. It was so nice and peaceful and though I wished it would last longer, the day was finally over. I also visited some good friends of mine at their new home and we had some good times. I was really surprised when my friend, an avid mountain biker, revealed that he had just happened upon a very fortunate discovery on a recent ride in the mountains. Quite an fortiutous adventure, indeed! Always a generous and gracious host, he and his wife shared some of the "treasure" from his little adventure. It's been a while for me, but if I were a bird, I'd say that I would probably be a "puffin".
But enough about me, how was your weekend (even though we're getting into the middle of the week here). I hope you had a better one then I did (which is to say a great one!) So, are you still thinking about getting a little dog? Just remember to spay or neuter your pet... (or you could end up with a bunch of puppies... unless, of course, it's your neighbor's dog that ends up with the pups instead ) Speaking of which, I'm going to have to take Yuri in soon for a little operation I'm sure he'd rather avoid. I feel really bad about doing it, but I suppose it's humane and prevents unwanted puppies from becomming indigent or abused. I'm sure he'll forgive me, but I just can't imagine him wearing a "bucket" on his head for a while. I'll have to get a pic. In the mean time, I'll post a new one I took earlier today of Yuri and his brother Gus. Well, it's late... (Again...) I should get some sleep since I'm doing inventory for my boss tomorrow.
