Ok so I have 3 cats and am planning on getting a small dog. I have never had a dog but my roommate has always had a dog so she knows a little about dogs. However she has always had big dogs so my question is what small dogs do well with cats? We want to adopt a puppy in the hopes of a puppy not knowing cats are well cats

Hmm, a new puppy? I can think of one pup who needs a new home, she's adorable and not too terribly big either. "Claire" is adorable and loving, maybe you might consider adopting her? She's the smallest pup of the lot and won't likely get much bigger (ok, maybe just a bit). She's also good with cats (she thinks Opie is a dog, which is fine by him - he thinks he's a dog too).

So... Alright, I know a "small" dog always wins out over the big. If you must have a small dog, consider one of these fine fellows:


Mr. Big (Biggy) is a Chihuahua-Jack Russel Terrier mix, possibly full Chihuahua though. He's such a great dog, and he's well behaved - don't know about cats though, he's at my Step-Mom's, so no cats.
