Wow, that truckers cap you dad is wearing is so early 80's (do you both have 2 caps on?) He looks heally happy with you, did you both do the benefit walk? Did he do a lot of them? Sorry to asks so many questions, I'm just curious. I don't know how you can say goodbye, the important thing is that you have the time to, some don't even have that opportunity. I guess that's what makes it even more painful for you, that you know it is goodbye. I'm so sorry.

By the way, nice new pic. There's just something about the salute and the polka dots that remind me of an image from the 40's or 50's. You've a very animated and expressive face.
