The weather was so nice today I just had to get outside. Worked in the garden, read a magazine outside, took and evening walk. Sometimes I just hate being cooped up all day and I also need to unplug. smile

1. Got off at 3 today
2. Got first paycheck
3. Got last two unemployment checks
4. Got my Rollergirl DVD's in the mail.
5. Going to sushi with bestfriend!

My weekend...

So I found out today that I got a job with the company that I really liked but it isn't the job I interviewed for. I will be getting the same pay just doing something a little different. I am kind of glad it means I get to learn something new and that can never hurt.

It's nice to be challenged at work - keeps things interesting. Since coming to my current job almost 5 years ago, I've learned 4 new programming languages and at least that many new computer platforms and operating systems.

We do a lot of "ok, who's got the time to learn this for the next project". Sometimes it makes me want to scream.

So yesterday I went to my cousins baby shower and had a great time. I never really realize how much I enjoy and miss my family until I spend a good amount of time with them. So I quit my job after only 2 days I RULE! It just wasn't what I was looking for, but I do have a interview with a company that is more of what I am looking for. I am keeping my fingers crossed...
