I don't know why I have never done this before, but for the past month I have taken my yoga practice outside. It is a truly magical experience being so connected with nature and grounded to the earth. The energy of nature swirling around me makes me feel truly at peace and so well balanced. I find it easier now to ground and balance myself in times I feel stressed or unaligned..so long as I have my connection with nature.
It is a great start to every day rising with the sun and taking my yoga mat outside. Sun salutation has never flowed more easily!
