I just finished watching the nightly news. There was a Portland elementary school teacher caught "looking for prostitiution" at a rest stop in Vancouver. It reminded me of my 6th grade teacher. When I was in the 8th grade, he was caught in a porn booth in Portland with 2-3 other men, some of whom were prostitutes. Well apparently they were having sex. They got caught. I remember my mom sitting me down on the couch and asking me if I knew what all this meant. I was soooo devastated. He was my favorite teacher! And I wasn't upset that he was having sex, I was upset because he got in trouble for it. He actually came back to the school and taught, but not more than 6 months. He resigned. It was the talk of the school for months. I think I was also upset that he was gay. I kind of had a crush on him and I WAS teachers pet. Even some of the other kids in class said that he was ALWAYS looking at me. Hmmmm..... looking back that was kind of creepy.
Well I can still hear the kids chanting "Mr. Sester the Molester"...he really should have just kept his pants on I guess. It was too bad though, he was a great teacher.
