It sucks when you want to feel something that could be truly wonderful and real with your heart but will not let yourself
because either.....
#1. It will kick you in the head later and just hurt in the end, or....
#2 Maybe it's for real and will be forever.
I like the sound of number #2 but #1 is what keeps me from taking a chance.
I am a skeptical bitch from past experience and normally #1 is what happens to me 99.9% of the time so I do not allow myself to take chances.
I was starting to take a chance on something recently but have noticed some signs that make me want to stay
completely closed up and locked down.
It makes me wonder when the last time was that the sun has shone it's warmth on my cold heart.

Thank goodness one "date" was in the early afternoon and the other was at night. It gave me time to recharge.
