When I lived in Seattle, I used to absolutly love KISW. Seattle's best rock! Only station that had the balls to play Iron Maiden, a lcassic from Lec Zeppelin, and then something new, like the Smitherines. I hear it has declined, but Rolling Stone reported that they were one of the best stations in the world, back in the day.
Never found a station like it. Not in the short time I was in Portland, not KROQ in Los Angeles, or WHFS in Baltimore. Both legendary, but not KISW.
