So I started hitting the gym on January 26th of this year. I had been meaning to for a long time, but avoided it for all the reasons a fatty would. Finally I got sick of it all. Being tired, weak, and pained from a constant bad back among other things. Looking like shit and feeling like shit. Hating myself for letting it get so bad. I knew what I had to do to get well, I just needed to do it. So I got started.

As of last Friday I'm down around 53 pounds*. I've finally started really seeing results within the last month or two. I've got a jawline and an adam's apple again. Stairs don't exhaust me. Clothes I bought ten years ago fit again. I need to buy a smaller belt, I'm completely out of holes. I have knuckles. My blood pressure has dropped back to the mid-normal range. And most importantly I'm starting to feel better, both physically and about myself. But for all the positives I need to keep going and losing. I'm still a fat guy, just now I'm a fitter fat guy. I still need to lose another forty or so, and I'm quite sure I can do it. It'll just take some time. That I've got.

Oh yes, for the record, there is one other added benefit to losing a lot of weight fellas.
