Just got back from the hop farm where I purchased some rhisomes to get my own hop garden going. I picked up a Northern Brewer, Cascade, and a Santiam plant. The Santiam is the oddest as it's a rare hybrid of Tettenanger bred right here in Corvallis. I had to drive down a cow trail in my little vdub to get down to the farm. There was much bottoming out and cursing on my part, but I made it. I'm fairly sure the proprietor of the establishment was ripped out of his gourd as well, judging from his eyes. That's fine with me though, as he gave me beer and a discount that came out to a free plant. Score.

I'm enjoying Wine in the Western World so far, except for the damn idiots that took it cause "getting drunk is cool, huh huh". I really want to jump up and scream at them to shut the fuck up during lecture. I'm too softspoken I guess.

I keep getting less fat, so that's nice. I'm down 3 belt notches and I can now jog my four and a half miles without being sore after, just a little tired. I hope I can keep up the good progress.

A pork sirloin is in the slow cooker as we speak. Later it will become pulled pork, italian pork, and pork in a blanket. Sorry 'bout that muslims.
