So this being a college town there are a lot of bikers. I'm always extra careful to keep an eye out for them and from what I've seen the vast majority of other drivers around town do the same. The town helps a lot too, even marking the major roads with lanes specifically for bicyclists. So why can't the bikers bend back a little and help make the flow of traffic easier by obeying the laws of traffic? I don't think I've seen a single rider obey a stop sign, and those that signal their turns are few and very far between. I'm not trying to sound like I hate bikers, because I don't, I'd just like a little assistance in not accidentally running them over. I think it's a win-win situation.

If they're illegal, and you bump one more than 10 feet, it's fifty points. Otherwise just ten.

Yeah, they aren't a whole lot better here. I always try to be really conscientious when we're riding bikes to try and make up for all of the shitty riders out there. Of course, I ride about once a month, but still.
