I bought an airconditioner today. It's a cheap portable unit from The Home Despot, rated at 9000btu. It's really only for the upstairs (my room primarily) as it suffers from the heat the worst with a direct exposure to the sun. So far it's keeping it about fifteen degrees cooler than the outside, which isn't super great but not bad considering it's size and the fact it's 97 degrees out. Which is what it would be inside without it. Probably more. Bleargh.
