I bought DONNIE DARKO i dont know maybe 2 weeks ago and havent watched it yet! I have NEVER seen it! I bought it because EVERYONE here list it in their favs ...JUST KIDDING i got it b/c it sounds like my kind of movie (and Ebert gave it a thumbs-up and i like what he likes...mostly.)i also bought APPLESEED...AKIRA and HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES b/c i liked "devils rejects" i understand its not gritty/reality as "rejects" but looks to be great ! my mouth watering just reading the "special features" list

make sure you have the time to watch darko and concentrate on it. Don't watch it while you are doing something, you need to think while the movie is going. Not saying it'll completely make sense either way, but it's a thinking man's movie.
