Ampeg finally sent me the two 10" speakers I needed to repair my bass cabinet. Functional equipment makes a world of difference. It is now time for me to start searching for a band I can play live with again.
On a more ridiculous note, I don't like emo music that much, but I'm convinced that there's a particular mathematical equation that can be used for formulating the chord structures they utilize to induce sentimentality upon the unknowing listener.
Truthitude. I was sitting around at the Engine Room with MeNotYou, link, a can of Lone Star and a cigarette with the Get Up Kids blaring their whiny emo music into my aural canals, and all I could think of was:
1.) "This is a great night to fall in love."
2.) "Right now, I could really go for being jacked into the Metaverse, or at least having Reason by my side."
Reason would have been the more entertaining alternative, as I could have exterminated at least 3% of the emo population in Houston with the pull of a trigger.
Oh, and for you Snow Crash fans out there: remember Earth? Well, this is the closest thing you'll find to it for civilian use (may I also add that it's affordable):
Earthviewer
I've also noticed that many sites and corporations don't have their DNS configured to handle a www prefix. Come on, fuckers. It's a simple A record entry. Use it.
I'm lonely.

That show was bumpin yo.
*turning it back*
If you joined an Emo band the hot Emo chicks would be drawn to your dissonant lack of sensitivity. You're metalness would confuse and lure the helpless hot Emo chicks into your den of sin.
