Mathew Broderick brings an injured hawk to Father Imperius the Monk (Leo McKern). Father Imperius tells M.B.(whose character is Phillipe Gaston) to bring it up and he would cook it for them. Phillipe says that they can't eat the hawk, To which Father Imperius replies:
"Is it Lent, already?" Leo McKern.
The movie is Ladyhawke with Michelle Pfeiffer and Rutger Hauer and since Miss Pfeiffer played the hawk, most of us would have eaten the hawk without cooking her.

no need to worry about losing the ear...I think my biggest fear is the hole closing up. in which case I wait a while (until the cold season has ended) and pierce it again.
unfortunately, the one piercing I had (ear lobe) seemed to be a magnet for infection. if I was sick, it got infected. I hope the same is not happening for the cartiledge, and its just an isolated incident!
