*sigh* I'm not even going to go into it... There's so many fucking reasons why this war basically HAS to be... and fewer reasons that don't matter as much, as to why it shouldn't. Honestly... honestly, I don't fucking know what to think. I do know one thing for sure, tho... if we just let Saddam rule, he'll keep hidin his fucking weapons/weapon materials... and keep selling them to people willing to buy (the Alqueda, for example), and eventually, those weapons WILL BE USED. Who's to say Bin Laden's bitches won't decide that a nuclear fallout in, say... Miami, or Seattle wouldn't be such a bad idea, seeings how there are so many terrorist people and normal countries out there that FUCKING HATE OUR AMERICAN ASSES!!! So, no... really... we SHOULD let that shit go on, unpoliced and rampant. Fucking morons... sadly, it IS a reality in this day and age, that to ensure peace, there MUST be war. Sure, it SHOULDN'T be that way, but that IS how it is, with todays societies. Just deal, and quit givin Bush shit for protecting the best interest of the world's decent peoples.

Unfortunately, I am not exactly sure where one can get reliable statistics on the death tolls for both "sides", but I would be willing to claim that these numbers are likely to be much lower than many major wars before it. Weapon and targeting technologies are much more advanced than even those during Desert Storm. According to reports, the "Coalition Forces" were performing strategic bombing of "Reigme" targets, which should result in minimal civilian casualties. That doesn't make killing right, nothing will. However, the real question is: "Isn't it WRONG to sit on our asses with high-tech military devices collecting dust while people in other countries (like Iraq) are being killed, tortured, and generally oppressed by their own governments? How, then, can we claim that we hold the truths of equality of all persons to be self-evident?"

My only real complaint with the current events is this: "UN = United Nations, Bush. IF you want to be part of it you need to work within that system and agree to obey its decsions. IF you aren't willing to do that then quit fucking around 'trying' to work with them and just declare that you are doing whatever the hell you want/ think you need to. DON'T insult the intelligence of the UN members.... you're just burning more bridges."
