An anniversary of sorts: I've been here for 2 months today. That also means I haven't driven a car in just as long. There are a few vehicles here, but getting around the base is mostly by bicycle.
Hey! I'll be back in the good ol' US of A from 2-21 September. Flying in and out of Dulles, spending a few days in DC/Baltimore, a week in NJ with the coolest nieces and nephew in the galaxy and a few days in San Antonio. I'm interviewing for Pathology residencies. Histology rocks.
I had an infrequent but familiar dream this morning, where I meet an utterly charming and perfect woman who finds me the same. Like a John Hughes movie, and nothing salacious -you perverts! When I do wake up I'm left with the feeling as if it had really happened. All happy then lonely because it wasn't real.
