I've got a photoshoot today and suddenly I'm acutely aware of my body. I've never really noticed my body - I've just experienced it through touch, usually. And music. And back when I had the time and energy and motivation, acid.
And it's ironic, because I'm ultra-camerashy. But it pays. And it pays well. For no brainwork. And that's a nice change.

Addendum 5/11 3.05am (so 5/12):
I'm just realized that somewhere along the way I tripped and fell in a nest of photographers. The girl I'm seeing this Thursday, who wants to introduce me and "introduce" me to her boyfriend, is the photographer and model for a ton of amazing photosets on Nerve.com. Her boy is a friggin' genius with lenses. It's enough to make me almost nervous for this date.
And to answer woofer's question: I'm an art historian, but I'm low on cash. So I'm doing part-time work as a fetish model and a foot fetish model. And god knows what else.
