The most intoxicating smile Ive ever known
Just like a Venus flytrap,
Im the misguided fly
Lured to your sweet lips
left to wither and die
A voice as majestic as a Broadway musical
A sirens call seducing
projecting over the waves
The captivated sailor
never knew it was too late
A lucid dream, you could have sworn was reality
The trumpets vaporize the peace
the doors open, this whips crack
The cotton fields beckon
Back to reality
