Woo hoo! That's cool. I hear Austin is a fabulous city for all kinds of reasons, but especially for music. Sounds like they loved you back! biggrin

apparently, a naked man in a semi-public restroom is a shocking experience for some...should I quickly cover myself with a towel next time I undress for a shower? no

onlooker:
Unfortunately, I bet this is not in jest - and it makes me realize that the world is a phuked-up place!!!
But on the bright side (always there—you just have to look real hard sometimes) at least this offers some kind of twisted explanation for how people voted in the last two presidential elections! puke

Anyway,

Music . . .

You listen to Wolfmother at all

Really got lucky when a friend of mine suggested we go see 'em earlier this year, and they're back in town again tonight for an outdoor show.
I'm really looking forward to it!!!

... it dawned on me that I'm really into power trios ...
onlooker:
i'm a huge Rush fan, so i'm used to thinking of the lead singer on keys - not the bass player (even though the bass player is the lead singer in rush, thus the keys too); but tonight it was so amazing:
during the second song of the set, the lead singer set his guitar down, and didn't participate for a minute or two, and the song continuted very well . . . and I realized the bass player and the drummer were playing evertying

that was amazing

maybe i'm easily amused, but i really thought that was something.

The band really tried to show how much they may have grown in a few months, although I think they really just felt more at-ease with themselves than the first time a few months ago.

Overall, an awesome show -- i really enjoyed the whole experience!

... and now am looking forward to the rest of the summer:
ozzie
buffett
rush

(i know: eclectic taste . . . at least i like to think so)
thanks for your attention
