Just found out my dad goes to Afghanistan again for a 2nd tour on the 17th of this month.
This time he's going as a cultural adviser with the stabilisation unit of the MOD, so he wont be on the front line, which im thankful for, but he will be away for a while and obviously im going to miss him alot.
And i can't believe how short notice this is, he went down to london for the interview today, and he goes in a couple of weeks, so they must be desperate for people/or he kicks ass...some combination of the two.
