Everyone's different right. Hey the wait is a bitch, but at least when one knows what they want it becomes easier to strive for that goal because you feel you are actually being true to your self and your desires. We all slip at times so if you do, don't beat yourself up about it. And most men go though some sort of experimental phase where they want to "fuck everything that moves" sorry couldn't think of a better way to put it. Gladly most people grow out of that, but hey it isn't a gender issue because some women are the same exact way.

P.S. Tell this loser you're not doing his share of the work asap!

I think everyone at one point in their lives becomes disillusioned with love, if they haven't then they either have never loved because refused to put themselves out there and risk getting hurt...or just don't need it. Then there are those who got really lucky and ended up with their mate starting from a very young age. But the important thing is to not stay bitter or think it won't happen for you. Gosh knows I've been through that phase. But in the end the more I held grudges the more it hurt me instead of the exes you know... some people can live thier whole lives without needing love romantically and that's wonderful, than there are others who want it but go for anyone who will give them affection instead of someone who is right for them... really it's never simple the pursuit for it. But as they say it'll happen when you least expect it. When it all gets pretty lonely i just remember there are tons of people in this exact position, wanting to love but being alone...yet still staying truthful to their standards of what they want from a partner. Well I can ramble more...but i'll end with a quote because I like quotes!
"You are what you love and not what loves you back." So you're right on the money about needing to love/accept yourself or at least be okay with yourself lol before trying to love someone else.

what an awful story, I wish she could see she deserves better instead of giving in to what she is familiar with....sometimes there is nothing a friend can do. You have to let them figure it our on their own, and you already offered to help so if she refuses...nothing left to do right.

Yup that's me right now too, well said. My trials with 'harder drugs' though never passed the range of psychedelics, and coke a few times(fucking hated it), and a plethora of pain meds a few years back...really becomes a bore after a while. And the pain I tried to avoid only multiplied, but at that point I just wanted to get fucked up. Now it's just pot once in a while and my wine, once in a blue moon an acid trip is fine by me, but nothing else I'll dare put in my system again.

and yup agree with you on the meaningless sex part of your blog too...there's a time for everything...but I was never into that. Just do what feels right for you.

Yeah we were checking out how to do the Presidential race. It's really not that difficult. Our major hurdle would be coming up with the $5000 backing but I told my husband we could easily do fundraisers for that. But he wants to work his way up to the White House instead of just jumping in and not really knowing what he's doing so to speak. It would be cool to get that far though!

Yay, a designated driver is always necessary for sure, I'm sure your friends appreciate you! They better lol.

Menstrating is being pregnant now? Well great! I guess I've aborted like 100 kids by now!! Gov Brewer has also made it that employers can fire female employees for using birth control as actual birth control if it goes against their religious beliefs. Female employees can use birth control for medical purposes like PCOS but not to prevent pregnancy. They now have to get a written statement from their doctor about why they have said birth control if an employer finds out his female employees are using them. Talk about a major HIPPA violation.

My husband and I are not the types of people to sit on our asses with shit like this. I know I am a registered voter (not sure about him) so I will be getting my ass to the polls. My husband is actually going to look into what it would take to run for governer for 2014. That's how fed up he is with it.

I blame the snow birds. They stay long enough to be considered legal residents, vote, fuck things up for the rest of us, and then leave.

I know AZ is typically a R state but I've never seen R fuck things up this badly. Here's a little gem for you.
