Okay, I was away from the for awhile. Then I came back toward the beginning of the year. Then life got CRAZY busy. A bunch of trips over the summer for work, tons of people coming by to visit, trying to get some side projects done, and other "stuff" I guess. I can't believe it's October already.
I have a trip next week with my parents. My dad has always wanted to drive through New England during autumn to see the foliage. So, we are taking him and mom up for the week. We've got a few things planned, including a 1/2 day trip on a train through a scenic area. Other than that, it'll mostly be driving and just chillin' with the scenery. We've got a few routes that should go through a covered bridge area, and we're staying at some B&Bs. Hopefully it'll be a good trip. Mom and dad are both over 70 now, so we figured it's time they finally go on this trip lol :)
Work is busy. I've got a few pokers in the fire, and a few more that I've put there...just because. Well, they're good ideas and should be considered, but it just means more work for myself. And, the office is moving in a month, so that should be a nightmare. Actually, they tell us it won't be that bad, but we'll see. We're going to an Open Office environment. That should be fab - NOT! Right now, 75+% of the employees all have their own office. In the new location...3 office. Not 3%, 3 total offices: CEO, COO, and the HR Director. That's it. It'll definitely be interesting.
Ok, have fun all. I'll check back in later. Maybe I'll upload some pics from the trip. BTW, I joined a photography club. Really enjoying it. Tonight we had a workshop on creativity. Great stuff. I'm thinking I definitely need to upgrade my point and shoot. And I probably need to buy some additional software. But, it'll be fun :) :D
