Okay all, it's almost Christmas. Things are about set here. Of course if the world ends tomorrow, it's all for not lol

I've got all but one gift purchased and wrapped. One more day of work, then a week off - Yay It's going to a busy time though. So there's visiting with my sister and her fam across town; then there's visiting fam up in northwest PA; then back down to NoVA to relax for a day; then off to Philly (Wallingford actually) to have a gaming day and New Year's Eve party. Phew! Then, back to work.

After a week back at work, then it's off to Dallas for a conference. And boy-oh-boy is that going to be interesting. I've got a committee that has been floundering for the past 18 months, and my assistant is really subpar. It's been two years, and she still just needs a ton of hand holding - UGH!! Step it up!!

Dallas should be fun, and I'm sure that I'll have some time to have a good time out one r two nights. But, the committee meetings are going to be rough. There are some really big topics coming down and some of the key people are going to miss the meetings. That is going to make for very interesting discussions. Luckily my boss is standing behind me and is going to support me during what are definitely going to be some rough transitions.

I hope all my SG friends have a great Christmas - or Hanukah. And that the new year is great for all. I know some of my SG friends have been saying they have had a rough time lately - stay strong girls I know you'll make it through.
